What is Diamond a Polar treatment?
At Skin Agents we use the Venus Viva and Venus Versa machines to do this treatment. These results driven patented TGA approved technology uses radio frequency to tighten and contour the skin. This procedure creates enough thermal effect to induce collagen growth and re-modelling. It is a non-invasive and gentle treatment suitable for all skin types.

How does Diamond Polar work?
Powered by Multi-Polar Radio Frequency (RF) and Pulsed Electro Magnetic Fields (PEMF) Venus Viva Diamond Polar treatment uses this combination to treat moderate to severe wrinkles and skin laxity. Working at a therapeutic temperature, the Multi-polar RF uses homogeneous energy and volumetric heating to multiple tissue depths which allows for quick and safe build-up of heat, in the skin. The RF heat directly stimulates fibroblasts, a cell that plays an important role in wound healing, while the PEMF stimulates new collagen production.

What to expect
This is a beautifully relaxing treatment it should feel comfortable a bit like hot stone massage. After applying a clear gel, the skin is gradually warmed to optimal temperature to stimulate collagen.

What areas can be treated?
Diamond Polar can be used on any area of the body that has sagging or wrinkling skin. The most common areas are face, neck, chest, upper brows, upper
arms, and knees.

How many treatments are needed?
For optimal results we recommend 6-8 treatments, once weekly, or once every 2 weeks, then additional treatments can be used for maintenance or as needed.

Radio Frequency resurfacing is a Non-Surgical treatment with minimal downtime that can reduce the appearance of enlarged pores, uneven skin texture, pigmentation, fine and deep wrinkles, rosacea, stretch marks and acne scaring.

What to expect
We generally use a numbing cream prior to your treatment, this ensures the treatment is very comfortable. After your treatment you should expect to be mild to moderately red for up to 24 hours post treatment, your skin can feel like you have a mild wind or sun burn. Generally, this heat dissipates within a couple of hours. On occasions mild swelling can occur. All of this will be discussed with you during your pre treatment consultation.
We recommend not using any of your usual home skin care product or makeup for 24-48 hours post treatment.

What is Tribella ?

What to Expect
The Tribella treatment takes approximately 1.5 hours to complete. We use the latest technology in advanced results driven machinery the Venus Versa.
The IPL Photo rejuvenation treatment can feel a bit like a flick from an elastic band. It generates heat that can leave your skin feeling like you have a mild wind or sun burn for 30-60 minutes post treatment.

Then we use the Venus Viva Nano Fractional Diamond Poral modality, this is very relaxing treatment with heat being delivered to the skin that some say feels like a hot stone massage.

Then our registered nurse can apply an individually prescribed and compounded numbing cream to ensure the RF resurfacing is comfortable and basically pain free.

Down time and recovery
After your Tribella treatment you will experience mild to moderate redness of the treated areas , mild swelling can also occur. The recovery time is usually 24 hours, but on occasions this can take up to 3 days. We recommend that you refrain from using your normal home care products and makeup for a minimum of 24 hours.

How many treatments are required?
For optimal results at Skin Agents we recommend a course of 3 treatments 4 to 5 weeks apart. You will start to see a reduction in pigmentation approximately 2-3 weeks post treatment but optimal results will be seen 6-12 weeks later.
To keep your skin glowing and healthy we recommend one treatment every 6 months.

Using the most advanced MDerma pen technology Dermal Needling is used to restore the health and youthful appearance of your skin with minimal or even zero downtime.

Using the MDerma needling system downtime is significantly shorter than more invasive treatments such as laser or strong peels.

Collagen induction therapy relies on the skins own natural ability to repair itself. When we needle the skin we are causing controlled micro injury to the skin that in turn stimulates healing building new collagen and elastin fibres to produce new younger looking skin.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Skin Needling procedures are perfumed in a safe and accurate manner by a qualified nurse partitioner. The procedure takes 30-40 minutes.

A topical anaesthetic cream is applied 45 minutes before the treatment. This ensures the absolute comfort of the client. Creating dermal damage without removal of the healthy epidermis, as with other resurfacing techniques, means the healing time is rapid and painless.

HOW QUICKLY WILL I SEE RESULTS

Visible signs of skin rejuvenation will be seen after 2 – 4 weeks and collagen growth will continue for up to a year.

We recommend a course of 4 treatments at 2-3 weeks apart.

POST TREATMENT

After the procedure your skin will be pink and flushed, similar to the appearance of moderate sunburn. You will experience skin tightness and mild sensitivity to touch. Redness and swelling can occur but skin will generally return to its natural appearance within 24-48 hours.

The length of recovery time depends on the micro needle size used for your treatment.

You will be informed of the predicted downtime by the Skin Agents nurse practitioner.

We recommend that a topical Vitamin C Vitamin A and sunscreen are used to improve and protect the skin form the harsh Western Australian environment.
